Gardening Outreach

Pupils in post 16 phase get the opportunity to go to a range of community settings to experience meeting new people and try out new activities.

TG3 went to Purple Patch in Blackburn today. Here are some lovely photos of the students taking cuttings of plants with the staff down there. You can also see them practicing their communication skills, signing ‘good morning ‘ to the new people they meet.

They are enjoying growing and caring for plants and this work goes towards their ASDAN accreditation.
