Senior MOVE Practitioner Training.

Happy New Year! Our first day back today was a professional development day for staff.

We have had a good holiday and hope that you have all had a lovely break - we are looking forward to seeing all of the children tomorrow.

The staff in school today for INSET today found it was difficult getting up early this morning!

Some have been setting up classrooms and others on training to develop their skills and knowledge in working with pupils.

After the training today, all of the teachers and HLTAs in the main school are now trained as Senior MOVE (Movement Opportunity Via Education) Practitioners.

This is a programme to develop motor skills through an incorporated teaching and therapy based approach.

We are looking forward to using our new knowledge and skills to help children develop their physical skills in the classroom.
