Christmas Fair 2018

This morning we held our annual Christmas Fair - and what a busy, festive occasion it was! There were lots of different stalls selling items children have made, raffles, tombolas, games and the wonderful café. We had entertainment from Corus Brass who played festive tunes to make a wonderful atmosphere. Father Christmas had his grotto and his helpers, and was visited by lots of children - and even the Mayor! It was absolutely fantastic to see so many parents, families, friends, governors, former colleagues, former pupils. We had visitors from a local nursery and also from Queens Lodge retirement home … almost anyone linked to the Newfield family seemed to be here!

We have had a really good time, have spent a fortune, eaten lots of goodies, had lots of laughs and now we are ready for the weekend!

The business services team are all busily counting the money - so we will be able to tell you how much we have raised for school funds very soon.

Thanks to all the children and staff for working so hard, and to all of our wonderful visitors!
