Even More Takeovers

We really have had the pupils Takeover school in a big way this year! Today, as well as Billy taking over Helen”s deputy head role, we have had Barbar attending the deputy heads weekly meeting, taking over from Vicki, as well as Hannah working with Asiya to provide admin support.

Babar enjoyed acting up as deputy - he had chocolate biscuits and a chat with headteacher Geoff (obviously something all deputies do on a regular basis!), then attended the meeting where we discussed how to choose between people when interviewing for positions, curriculum developments and what the deputies are up to this week. He enjoyed the coffee and chat, but wasn’t that impressed with the meeting content - he thought it was a bit boring!

Hannah really enjoyed carrying out a range of admin tasks in both the main school and the school for autism, delivering messages, organising files and generally getting people organised. She did really well and she and Asiya both enjoyed the Takeover experience.

At the end of the day, Sully, who did such a good job the other day on the car park, was back out in the cold helping out with getting all the buses and taxis organised safely and getting the children all on board ready to go home.

What a busy, busy, #Takeover day!
