We were delighted to hear this week that Tracy Durkin, one of our fantastic teachers, has successfully completed the course that she has spent the last two years studying hard for, whilst working full time! Tracy is now a QTVI - Qualified Teacher for the Visually Impaired. She has learnt Braille, a huge challenge, and has now gained lots of expertise and experience that s he can use in school to support our learners with visual impairments. We are really excited about. Having such in house expertise and want to say a huge well done and congratulations to Tracy for achieving such a high level specialist qualification. If you would like to meet Tracy, she will be running a parent career workshop soon, or contact her in school for individual advice and support.
