This afternoon we have had Lauren North and Donna Threfall from BwD Young People’s Services join us for School Council. They were facilitating the Make Your Mark campaign. They encouraged our students to voice their choices of the things they want in the community and what they think is important. We had small group discussions and some students came up with ideas of who would represent them the best. It was great seeing the students express their opinions and their voice being heard, not just by Newfield staff, but by staff from BwD Young People’s Services.
