Today was National Teaching Assistant Day. Well, we have turbo charged, super Education, Health and Care Assistants here at Newfield, so to celebrate how fantastic they all are, we put on a coffee morning for them to let them know how much they are appreciated. Helen and her catering staff in the kitchen made delicious jammy dodgers and the students served the EHCAs tea and coffee. We had fun taking photos with loads of different hats and dressing up props. All the classes had coloured in and written the names of each EHCA to make into a gigantic banner that went right around the hall. Our EHCA staff really do work so hard and they had a lovely time and hopefully realise just what a huge part of the Newfield family they are and how much we value them.
