Key Stage 2 were fantastic in their dress rehearsal of ‘There’s a sunflower in my supper’ today. The play was set in a meadow full of sunflowers, insects and animals. The costumes, scenery and props were absolutely fantastic! So much hard work has gone in to learning the songs and actions by staff and pupils. Children played the parts of the cow and bull who needed some more grass to eat. With the help of their friends, they planted the grass seeds and made sure that they had enough water, food and sunlight. It was a fantastic performance – let’s hope it goes as well when it is performed tomorrow morning at 10am for parents – please come along!
