This evening, staff from Newfield took part in the 2018 Memories Walk to raise money for the East Lancashire Hospice. They joined hundreds of people to walk in memory of loved one in the last ever Memories Walk. This year’s 4 mile memory walk started and finished at East Lancashire Hospice and it was a truly special evening to reflect on those we miss. The walk started at 9pm and each person got a heart shaped balloon on arrival and a candle bag to write the name of the person they were remembering. The Newfield ladies raised funds for East Lancashire Hospice, which go towards caring for their patients. They finished in 1 hour 15 minutes – not bad for 4 miles and a lot of talking! Well done girls – you make us all proud!
