Pupils from Primary phase all had a wonderful day at Stanley Park on Wednesday 20th June at the PMLD Olympics at Stanley Park in Blackpool organised by Highfurlong School. When they arrived they headed straight to the sports hall for the presentation of medals, this was a wonderful celebration to end our 6 weeks of hard work in PE lessons in school working on the motor active training program for the PMLD Olympics, everyone clapped and cheered, it was lovely! After that we went into the park playground to play on the equipment before eating our lunch, then we had a walk through the park looking at the beautiful gardens before heading to the café where we all enjoyed an ice cream. We had a fantastic day with our friends and colleagues from other special schools across Lancashire and came home tired but happy!
