We’ve all come in our finery today to help to create a special atmosphere to celebrate this special day - Newfield’s version of the Royal Wedding. The day is a very informal celebration - the morning for classroom activities, making flags, placemats and table decorations. Helen and her catering team have created their usual magic in the kitchen for lunch including muffins with sugar paper topper of Harry and Meghan for every child and a wedding cake which will be shared amongst staff. After lunch we have our Royal Couple’s drive by in the vintage car, thanks to our friendly bus driver and all round superstar Andy, who is bringing along his wedding car! This will be followed by photos in the small hall and dancing in the large hall. There is no disco for this event (the Queen doesn’t like them!) So we are all really excited and hoping everyone has a lovely day!
