This week in school we have been looking at mental health and talking about our different emotions. We also looked at ways we can look after our mental health. We talked about how we can deal with different emotions and played an emotions game. The students have worked with our school counsellor Sharon and all came up with loads of positive ideas about what they could do to help them achieve good mental health. They also talked about what they could do if they needed support and were feeling sad, anxious or worried about things. Some of their great ideas were talking to people, quiet time, walking, swimming, listening to music, being with friends or reading. We did role plays and discussed different scenarios. We realise it’s important to look after our mental health!
