IQM Assessor Visit 2018

Today we were visited by Dave Stott, from Inclusion Quality Mark, who came in to assess us once more to ensure that we continue to deserve the Flagship Status that we hold for inclusion. Dave has assessed us before and once again he was very complementary about the school and our wonderful children and staff. He met with senior leaders to talk about current projects and our plans for the future. Dave was also lucky enough to have a quick tour of the new school for autism which is in the very final stages of being built. He was very impressed with it and said it was an impressive, well thought out design that will be fantastic for the children with large classrooms, curved walls creating flow, lots of natural light and plenty of breakout areas. He was delighted to see how we continue to drive forward, adapting and growing to meet children’s needs in innovative ways. We will let you know when we get the full report. Well done to everyone for your part in us once again achieving the Inclusion Quality mark – ‘Flagship’ status!
