Today we returned for the summer term and welcomed some new Education, Health and Care Assistants to our staff. They met lots of people, had some training and managed to spend some time in class on their first day of induction. As part of this, members of the steering group from the Rights Respecting School Award told them about the initiative, what we do to support UNICEF and Children’s Rights. They had the opportunity to look through our evidence files, talk to the pupils and were given a leaflet made by the group giving them more information. Tomorrow they have more training, then they will be in class full time - so if you see new faces around school, please welcome them!
