Canal's End Easter Sunday

Happy Easter to the whole Newfield family! Today, Nick did indeed reach the Leeds end of the Canal - but there is a sixteen mile gap that unfortunately, due to his very badly damaged feet, he was just not able to complete right now. He did manage to limp the final half mile from the hotel to the canal’s end, but it was agony. He will complete the 16 miles from Bingley 5 rise locks to Leeds at the Spring Bank holiday. Thanks to everyone for supporting him - he has over £800 in cash donations as well as the online donations - so he has done an amazing bit of fundraising as well as making a phenonenal effort to complete the crazy challenge!
