An even muddier day today along the canal - Nick is pushing on, but his poor feet might not last all the way. It has been a cold, wet day and the tow path is very slippery, with Nick nearly falling several times - and we can see why - it’s more like an ice rink! He has reached Bingley 5 rise locks in the top photo, so about 15 miles still to go. It is a mammoth task walking the length of the canal in one go and it is really putting Nick to the test in spite of his determination and the super human effort he is putting in. One way or another, he will get to the Leeds end of the canal…
