Busy Buddies

Our ‘Buddies’ have been busy visiting each other this week at Newfield. Some of our older students buddy up with our younger ones and join them in class. The help them to learn and also model and demonstrate positive interaction, talking and playing with them. The are encouraged to say hello when they see each other around school and share experiences during whole school events Aatika is a buddy with Jack. Aatika helps in lessons and works alongside Jack. Aatika said its great fun being in class one and helping the little children

Safeguarding

Newfield School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults as its number one priority.

Full copies of Policies and Procedures related to all aspects of Safeguarding, and the Complaints Policy, are available on request from Rachel Kay, Head Teacher and Designated Senior Lead for Safeguarding and Child Protection.
