On the 2nd day of Children’s Mental Health Week pupils are enjoying #BeingOurselves through their regular opportunity to take part in Sensory Integration activities. They used platform swings, trampettes and other sensory equipment to help them regulate their senses. Whist in the hall we work on vestibular and proprioceptive senses.

For a lot of our students this is a calming session and is a way of supporting the wellbeing of our students. Our children with autism particularly benefit from these sessions and we are very excited about having the new building ready soon which will facilitate even more access to these opportunities to enjoy #BeingOurselves.
