Today Newfield school opened the new Satellite Autism Provision which is based at Shadsworth infant school. We have a lovely building based at the Shadsworth site where pupils can learn following the same structure and curriculum of a Newfield class but whilst having the opportunity to do some inclusion work with our peers at Shadsworth infants. The children based at the new satellite Provision have had a lovely first day. They enjoyed looking around their new classroom and learning about animals as part of our topic for this half term. The pupils have really enjoyed playing outside as we have a lovely playground and bikes to play with. We also enjoyed a visit from some of the pupils and staff from Shadsworth infants who popped in to say hello.
