Today our head teacher Geoff spent the morning and lunch service in the kitchen as a member of staff! He was invited by Helen and team to do a shift to look at how things run and if we can improve service at all, particularly for those who require blended food, and also as we move towards the new school kitchen requirements. We are looking at how to improve our offer to all children to provide choice and variety but it’s a busy school and small kitchen and Helen and her team perform miracles every day to get all that food out! The children and staff loved seeing him hard at work, and having done his shift Geoff is amazed by just how much work goes into the food each and every day.
