Today pupils enjoyed the thrill of the cinema at Film Club, watching the recent release Moana, where an adventurous teenager sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demigod Maui, who guides her in her quest to become a master way-finder. Together they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters - it was very exciting! The children had drinks and popcorn and really liked seeing the story play out on the big screen. Staff commented on how this movie engaged their pupils with the beautiful animation and the catchy songs. Afterwards some of them wrote reviews and talked about what they liked about the film. Mushy from TG1 said “I liked Maui sailed the boat” and “I didn’t like the lava monster, he was scary.” A lovely way the end this half term.
