Today for World Book Day we have some guest readers going into classes and we are delighted to also welcome back into school 4 staff who have recently retired, Jackie Starkie, Val Cotton, Adele Kinsey and Cate Tindall, MBE; along with one of our governors, Joan Bamber. These ladies spent the morning acting as our guest readers and are going into classes to read their favourite stories to the children. They then got together for a catch up and lunch on the balcony - a huge thank you to them for joining us and giving the children such a lovely experience - we are always very happy to see former members of the Newfield family in school joining in with celebrations.
