On Monday School council had their first meeting for 2017. We had visitors in school who work for SLYNCS a youth empowerment charity based in Blackburn, also working closely with young people’s services. They have received a budget to spend in different areas and wanted to consult our students about the things they liked and disliked about the areas they live in. This was done by activities based around likes and dislikes. The students offered good and honest opinions about their areas. The students also came up with lots of things that they would like to see in school - this ranged from more ipads to old equipment being thrown away to a valentine disco being organised!
