Taking Over at Appletrees

Today for our Takeover Challenge, 3 pupils and our school counsellor, HLTA Sharon, went to Appletrees - the children’s respite centre that many of our pupils attend, to work with the staff there - they had a brilliant time! Darren, Lewis and Heena prepared craft activities, made a menu, went shopping and prepared food - all in readiness for the children going there after school today. In the photo Darren and Lewis are chopping food for the tuna pasta bake. They worked with Michael, Rachael and Suzie from Appletrees and loved all aspects of the day. Jerry, the Appletrees manager, was very impressed by all of them.
