Macmillan Coffee Afternoon

Today we held a Coffee Afternoon for pupils, staff and parents and families to join us for a cuppa, a gorgeous cake and to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. It was well attended - well what a great way to end a busy week on a Friday afternoon! It was lovely to see some old pupils and their families, as well as our current mums & dads, grannies & siblings. Pupils in post 16 had been busy baking - no soggy bottoms here - as well as crafting various items and potting up plants to sell to raise money. They love doing things to prepare them for life after school and we definitely have some top sales people in school. Thanks to everyone who contributed and those lucky enough to attend - altogether we raised £155.
