We all love any excuse to dress up, eat cake and fundraiser here at Newfield! So, our first charity event of the year took place today celebrating Jeans for Genes day Lots of pupils and staff paid £1 to wear their jeans, as you can see in the photo. There was a colouring competition and also a cake stall. We like this charity because it’s about helping children who have genetic conditions, and that is something very close to us. We know it is important to look after others and help them when we are able to do so. We had a really fun day and raised lots of money - £160.09 - well done everyone!
