Day 4 of Sports Week

Today on day 4 of the Newfield Paralympics Sports week the children and staff explored and played the game of ‘Goalball’. Goalball is a game that has been created for children with a visual impairment or blindness. It has very simple rules, but the aim of the game is to get the ball in the opposite net. The children split off into 2 groups, then using ramps or the skill of rolling, got the ball into the opposite net to score a goal. The bell ball gave a lovely sensory approach to the sport and it was lovely to see everyone getting involved. Special thanks to PE Coordinator Danielle for organising such a great week!
