Today, Class 5 have been learning about the Queen’s 90th Birthday celebrations that happened over the weekend. We watched some videos of the street party in London and the children enjoyed listening to the trumpet fanfares and the crowds singing ‘God Save the Queen’. We have enjoyed making flags and bunting using red, white and blue coloured pens and pencils. We also enjoyed making and decorating our own crowns with lovely sparkly jewels. In the afternoon we painted some lovely portraits of the Queen and enjoyed cake & juice for our afternoon snack. We have had a lovely day and the children have really enjoyed it! Here is a picture of some of the pupils in Class 5 proudly showing off their work!
