Today Joanne from @DerianHouse came into school to accept the cheque for the money we raised on our ‘Pyjama/ Crazy Hat’ fundraising day on the 20th May. The money was raised by dressing up, selling cakes and having a disco for the children who attend Derian House.
All the students enjoyed participating in the event and some of the School Council members enjoyed meeting Jo again today and presenting her with the cheque. We raised over £266.
Coffee and biscuits were shared before Jo left to go back to Derian House. Jo said she would love to be invited back to Newfield School again.
