Today our School Council have arranged a fundraising event for their chosen charity - Derian House Children’s Hospice. They asked everyone for £1 to wear their pyjamas or a funny hat - and their are lots of people here who dressed in style! This afternoon they are having a disco and this morning they held a cake sale - it’s always a money earner. We were delighted to receive 2 guests from Derian House - Jo Moss and Derian Danni - who had a walk round school, meeting all the children and staff, and who then joined us in the disco. Everyone had a brilliant time and well done to the School Council members who, with help from school counsellor Sharon, organised and coordinated the whole event. We raised a total of £266.88.
