#TakeoverChallenge Week - Final Day

Today we celebrated the last day of pupils taking over adult roles at Newfield. This is the third year we have joined in Takeover Challenge and it’s been the biggest one yet, with us doing it for a week instead of a day. Today, Jordan took on the big challenge of running the school, acting as head teacher. He attended Senior Leadership Meeting this morning, helped to write part of Geoff’s blog and had created a PowerPoint for the SLT meeting. He was involved in some decision making and even gave feedback later on in the day to a member of SLT who was unable to attend the meeting! We think he did an amazing job and took on the responsibility very well. Today also saw Fahid organising the taxi’s and buses on the car park, Jessica working in the kitchen to prepare and serve lunches and Sunia in class as a TA. All of the pupils involved this week have been amazing and have all really got a lot out of the experience. Well done to all of them and a big thank you to our super staff who supported them to make this takeover challenge happen.
