Well what a busy first week back to school we have had! We have welcomed lots of new pupils and staff to our Newfield family and as always there has been lots to get used to at the start of a new year. There has been some staff training, the first Cygnet parent carer course, the allotment to harvest as well as the normal lessons to settle into - and for the first time all summer the sun has been shining! In the picture you can see some of our older pupils chopping the courgettes and beans that they had harvested - they made a tasty soup from the home-grown vegetables. Everyone is very pleased to be back and we are already planning a whole host of exciting things, so keep coming back and finding out what we are all up to - we look forward to seeing you in school soon.
