This afternoon we held a Grand Garden Party to celebrate our 1 year anniversary of achieving level 2 of the RRSA. Pupils, parents, staff and special guests enjoyed afternoon tea and planted up our sensory garden to spell out RRSA as well as planting the plant gifts brought by our guests. It was a really special afternoon, with a super atmosphere - we had been worried by spots of rain at lunchtime, but the weather improved and we were able to really enjoy a lovely time. The RRSA steering group had worked very hard planning, preparing and serving tea on the day so big thanks to them, along with our fantastic site supervisors Terry and Sean who had organised the planting. We look forward to enjoying the plants for many years to come and will remember a great afternoon. Thanks also go to all the parents and guests who attended, for their time and contribution to the celebration.
