Fond Farewells...

This morning although we are happy to come together as a whole school again, we are very sad to say a final goodbye and happy retirement to two special members of staff in our assembly. Hilary, our finance manager has been with us for 16 years - we are always asking her for money for special things for the children, she’s been like mum giving out pocket money! Cate Tindall has been a teacher in the early years part of school for over 35 years. She has brought up generations of children and has been a huge support to their parents and families over the many years. It was a moving celebration with lots of gratitude and speeches from parents, governors and staff on behalf of our wonderful children, expressing how special our staff are and how much they mean to all of our Newfield family. We wish everyone a wonderful break, we are all ready for a holiday and a rest after a short but very busy term. See you soon, ready for action at the start of the Summer!
