Science Week - Day 1

This week we are celebrating another curriculum area - Science. There are lots of exciting events taking place, and today we began the week with our primary aged pupils learning about animals. We had some very special visitors in school including Yoyo the guide dog with his owner Allan and Tony from Pets at Home who very kindly came into school with a hamster called George. We loved meeting all the animals, they were very friendly and cute! We enjoyed looking at all the things animals need, like their homes and food. We also had fun pretending to be a vet and looking after animals. We got very messy in the pods when we explored different animal homes, especially when looking at mud and swamps! We would like to say a big thank you to our visitors Tony and Allan for bring their beautiful animals into school for us to meet.
