Today saw our final day in the pods and studio as part of RE week and we had the pleasure of being joined by Helen Sage and Hilary Wilby from Blackburn cathedral. As you can probably guess from the nature of our visitors, we have been looking at Christianity. Primary classes were invited to the hall to take part in sensory stories of Jesus calms the Storm; The Lost Sheep; and our guest Easter activity, looking at elements of the Easter story, how it is celebrated and why this is done. Secondary classes spent time in the studio, studying the symbols of Easter and the importance of Easter as a time to discard bad things and to make a fresh start.
