Today carrying on our theme of God the Protector we have been looking at how this has been represented in Islam. Classes in primary spent a session in the pods taking part in tasks themed around the Journey to Madinah, as well as discussing what a protector is. All classes took the time to look at the 99 names of Allah and the fact that the protector is one of these explicit names, as well as taking the time to try their hand at calligraphy, illuminating Al-Hafidh using patterns created through paint, collage and penmanship.
