During this special day we had a number of special guests. Here, Conservative candidate for BwD, Bob Eastwood joined us and read to a class. He was very impressed with the students and staff at Newfield. We had two assemblies, with students and staff sharing favourite books and the atmosphere in school was fantastic. At Newfield we enjoy making stories multi sensory, so that all of our children can experience the wonder of books and stories. Thanks to Bob, for taking time out of his very busy schedule to enjoy #WorldBookDay with us, as well as our governors and all of our special guests.
