Respecting Children's Rights

- In Category: RRSA

This afternoon our RRSA steering group had their regular half termly meeting to discuss our work on spreading the message about Children’s Rights. They have recently reviewed the whole school charter and made a leaflet to inform new staff and visitors about UNICEF, the Convention of the Rights of the Child and why it is so important to us here! It was a lively meeting as always and we have got some exciting plans for a big event in the summer term - but we are not telling you anymore yet, it’s a secret, you’ll just have to wait…sorry! We are very proud to be UNICEF ambassadors as well as the only school in BwD to hold the rights Respecting Schools Award - if you would like more information, get in touch and let us know and some of our steering group can come and tell you all about it and how you can be involved.
