Every Friday, pupils and staff in secondary and post 16 phases come together to celebrate the achievements of the week and have a singing practise. Last week, on a cold, grey windy day, they came together and sang away the blues, singing a selection of African songs. At the end of term, we acquired African drums from the BwD Music Service and we are starting to make good use of them to get us in a sunshine mood! They enjoyed singing ‘Zimbole’ - an African chant and Pharrell William’s ‘Happy’ to get them in the right mood for the weekend.
