Today was our last day of term! We have had a fantastic year and are all ready for a long summer break. We held our final leavers assembly this morning, where we said a last goodbye to our oldest pupils, some of whom have been with us for seventeen years. We also bid farewell to several staff members, some going to new jobs, others retiring after many years service. Sheila and Val have clocked up 34 years each at Newfield and before that at Blackamoor and Dame Evelyn Fox schools - so they have really early their rest! It is always said to say goodbye, but we are so proud of our young people and grateful for the time we have with them, as well as the staff. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Newfield family this year. We wish you all a very happy, restful summer; Eid Mubarak for next week to those celebrating and see you all in September!
