11-19 Sports Day

Today, 11-19 had a sports filled day! Classes were dressed splendidly in the colours and props related to their chosen country. Each team played 7 games; Rollerball, Rope Zigzag, Parachute, Pass the Bean Bag, Curling, Beat the Goalie and Fishing. Each game was situated in a different place in school and was run by the pupils from TG7. Everyone had fun moving around to complete the challenges to earn lots of points before the time ran out. It was fantastic to see all classes getting involved so enthusiastically! In the afternoon we had a ceremony where all teams were presented with a medal to celebrate their sporting achievements. As there was discrepancies in the scores the staff had to play a fun ‘staff off’ challenge to decide the winning team. After some exciting cheering the trophy was presented to the team which accumulated the most points from the games… and surprise entry from the host Australian team of TG7 was announced as the winner with the most score! After our busy and very hot day, we all cooled down with ice creams.
