Last Friday some of our students had a great time helping Sean (our Site Supervisor) in the Sensory Garden. The weather was very sunny and the group took the opportunity to lay out a selection of 30 grasses and plants which had just been delivered to school. The children helped to dig lots of holes, ‘bedded in’ the plants and watered them with the hose pipe and watering cans. The garden and the bamboo tunnel are looking great and the children have given us lots of new ideas and suggestions to help develop the area such as an allotment so that they can grow herbs, fruit & vegetables that can be used in the school kitchen. Watch this space….!!
