Today we held a special Easter assembly where ‘Lets Play Everywhere’ very kindly donated a Cadburys Crème Egg for every student at Newfield to enjoy. Lets Play Everywhere are based in Nelson, Lancashire and are building our fantastic new Sensory Garden. They are a family owned company that work with schools, nurseries and local authorities installing play equipment.
Staff from the company attended our Easter Assembly today along with parents and other guests. They were all treated to a dance from our youngest pupils, a reading of the Easter story, songs from the 2-11 and 11-19 choirs as well as a talk from our guest speaker, Andrew Raynes (vicar of Christchurch, Blackburn). Everyone really enjoyed the assembly and the eggs were given out and enjoyed afterwards. Thank you very much!
