Today, Newfield is Lighting it up Blue for the seventh annual World Autism Awareness Day! We are asking all pupils, staff and visitors to wear blue for the day. We are having a coffee morning for visitors, and have decorated the whole school with blue lanterns and hot air balloons which all of the classes have been busy making. There is a competition for the best lantern, being judged by Governor Joan Bamber. All children will be taking part in special events in the Studio and in the 4D pods in the large hall - it really has taken over the school! So, please join us in raising awareness of Autism on this special day. More details to follow later on today…
