Newfield has enjoyed another exciting World Book Day today. We celebrated this year by inviting magician, Andy Magee, to tell some stories, jokes and to do some magic tricks around the theme of World Book Day. You can see our pupils loved it in the photo! He made us all laugh and was very entertaining. His act included a disappearing mouse, plate spinning and a dance competition to Gangnam Style music! As well as the Magician we had a multi-sensory story in the 4D Studio and a Book Swap Stall. Some of the pupils and staff dressed as story book characters. These included a pirate, a skeleton, a cowboy, a witch, a cat, a bear and a monkey. We all had a fabulous day and look forward to spending our World Book Day vouchers very soon.
