Today the secondary department food technology group used fair trade ingredients to make a banana loaf and a tea loaf to sell on the tuck shop during fair trade fortnight. The fair trade ingredients used were bananas, sugar, tea and marmalade. We even made our poster using the tea bags! They smelled delicious whilst cooking but we resisted sampling them so there would be more to sell on the fair trade tuck shop! We had a great time using our cooking skills to make the delicious, ethical treats and we’ve told everyone it’s first come, first served at the stall on Monday!
