Today love was definitely in the air at Newfield! We had a whole school buffet lunch, a disco, red roses, hearts, chocolates and a marriage proposal! Everyone has worked really hard during this cold, dark half term and we were very happy to have some fun and celebrate Valentine’s day. Lots of children came to school dressed up, we had more sequins than the entire Olympic ice skating competitors at Sochi! Thanks to Helen and the kitchen ladies for the delicious buffet. It was lovely to have some former pupils come to join in the disco, we all miss them as much as they miss us, so it was good to catch up. The Newfield family had a super day and everyone left on a high, in the wind and rain, looking forward to a half term break.
