Children's Commissioner's Takeover Day

Today, for Children’s Commissioner’s Takeover Day, children are shadowing adults in school and assisting them in their roles, including teaching assistant, site supervisor, catering staff, car park coordinator and others. Some will be attending a business services team meeting and some will be attending SLT with the head and deputies! Pupils will also be leading the assembly. They voted for their favourite lunch to have today and they also held a school council meeting and RRSA audit earlier in the week. They are all very excited about being more involved in decision making and Thaybah loved working as the boss in the office as you can see in the photo!
Zahid and Ammarah were amazing in SLT, Zahid wore a suit and was much smarter than Geoff!
Everyone really had a great day, and we have decided that we will be doing this regularly to give our children the opportunity to show off how mature, capable and fantastic they are.
