On Friday 22nd November, we are going to be celebrating this special day initiated by the Children’s Commissioner. The day gives children and young people the chance to work with adults for the day and be involved in decision-making. Children benefit from the opportunity to experience the world of work and make their voices heard, while adults and organisations gain a fresh perspective on what they do. We have made a start in decision making by children having a choice for lunch on Friday - they have voted for burger and chips and chocolate brownies - not healthy, but their democratic choice! RRSA pupils have also carried out an audit, to ensure that the whole school is demonstrating their committment via charters, displays and the classroom environments - there are some great examples of this around school, one of which you can see in the photo.
